I made a book that's also a daisy. It's not very big, but it contains all of my heart and my love. Hope you'll like.

January 2, 2012: Wow, I did not expect such a huge response. Thank you all very much!

To address the many requests for tutorials, I did not invent the folding technique used for this book. This structure is commonly referred to as the 'star book' and I learned it in my bookbinding class. I came up with the idea of turning it into a daisy and did this by rounding off the corners and using more pages (9) instead of the usual 5 or 6.

There are many tutorials online that you can find if you want to learn how to make your own star book. These are the best ones that I had found: [link] and [link]

Happy folding and gluing! :D

January 26, 2012: A DD! :faint: Thanks so much, everyone!

Each petal is a separate piece of paper. They're carefully glued together to make the entire flower. The orange and green 'centers' are actually on one side, and the writing is on the other.

I get that - i guess I'll just figure out placement, and color the bits so they show as centers- thanks!
