I worked on this one the entire day yesterday, woke up today at 6AM, worked on it some more, and it's now 5:00AM of tomorrow. Complete, at long last. I'm a little amazed that I'm not even feeling sleepy now.

Did this for "Liquid City Giveaway Draw-A-Robot Contest".

I've never drawn a robot or a fish in my life, so the idea of painting a fully mechanical robofish is a little intimidating to me. Since cyborgs are considered to be valid entries for this competition, here's my fish cyborg.

Random fact: Painting a bowl is harder than painting a cat.
Random tip: When in doubt, slap on some textures. (You'll start "seeing things".)

Thank you to Sing Ee, Ann Ee, Woon Bing, Chin, Kidchan, "Very Old Frogapillar" Jon-Troy Nickel, Wern How, Roden and everyone else who gave their opinions and stuff. You're all awesometastic people.

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey!!!!!! I love the little pink pads on the kitty's foot!!! And those fins get me every time on the fishy, I think it came out looking great! i like the bubbles and the bowl too *drools over your skill*

Haha, I've never attempted at this level of realism before and it was a good experience. I wanted to create that "high key photography" look for this image and I sure hope it's working!
